2026 Captains
Voted by their teammates as captains for the 2026 season are quarterback Grayson Saunier of Lafayette, La., safety Harrison Keith of Fairfield, Conn., and defensive lineman Joshua Johnson of Statesboro, Ga., all rising seniors.
"Great choices," said coach Sammy McCorkle. "They are unbelievable guys who represent our program the right way. From the day they stepped on campus you knew all three had the potential to be leaders of our program.
"It's not surprise they were voted for and were chosen by a bunch of votes. You can't say enough about what they do for this program. I'm excited for them to help lead us."

* Statistics kept by one person often looking through binoculars from the balcony high above one end zone – on a field with no numbers and officials sometimes arbitrarily blowing plays dead. Apologies for any glaring mistakes but this is intended to offer a glimpse at how the stats played out, rather than to be a definitive record of the stats. Those excuses notwithstanding, they are pretty close. ;-)
** Given that quarterbacks were not live and officials blew whistles arbitrarily when QBs started to run or were touched in the backfield, the rushing stats for the remaining two quarterbacks are impossible to gauge.
